dawn & winn: wedding
Monday, May 26th, 2008I had the absolute pleasure of being a second shooter for Sean of Sean Mason Photography yesterday and had a blast! I had a chance to take photos of so many beautiful details and observe the way Sean does his thing! My favorite thing about the whole day was the light. It was overcast the whole day, with some threatening rain clouds that decided to part right above the church; this marriage was obviously meant to be. These clouds provided beautiful light for portraits and beautiful light to come through the church’s GORGEOUS stained glass windows.
I am so blessed to be a part of so many people’s wedding day. I LOVE MY JOB!
Thank you so much for letting me tag along Sean!
heather joy & john: wedding
Saturday, May 10th, 2008Jordan and I had a wonderful time last weekend at Heather Joy and John’s wedding in Oceanside! It was such a pleasure to get to meet their friends and family!
Both the wedding and reception were at The Flying Bridge Restaurant, a lovely restaurant that overlooks Oceanside harbor. The ceremony was so heartfelt and even included a Irish tradition of taking a shot of whiskey. Heather Joy and John exchanged roses just before they exchanged rings to symbolize their love for one another.
Their reception was small and intimate, and had the most darling beach theme! There were starfish everywhere along with my favorite, white and yellow tulips! They had an ice cream cake from Cold Stone Creamery which was a huge hits with their guests after lots of dancing!
It was an absolute joy to see their love through their smiles, hugs and kisses. We are so thankful to have been a part of their day.
