You know that feeling you get when you see an old friend after you haven’t seen them in a long time? It totally felt like I was meeting an old friend a few weekends ago when I met up with Wendy for her portrait her most recent portrait session.

Her energy and vibrant personality radiate from her– she can really find the fun in anything! We wandered around back alleyways and side streets in Downtown LA and had a blast the entire time! I’ve never me t a woman who can work a bright blue storage facility door like she can! She the most fierce woman I know!

Thank you so much Wendy for allowing me to photograph you and your beautiful smile!

Tuesday, July 28th, 2009

it has been a crazy summer so far… and we’re really busy here getting shoots done and processed for your viewing pleasure.

We are so excited to see what the rest of the year has in store for us. We are so blessed to do this for a living! We have some really exciting shoots coming soon on the blog, so stay tuned for all that fun!

I’ll leave you with a sneak peek of Melissa and Bobby’s wedding from this past weekend! Melissa was such a beautiful bride– and the most calm one I have ever encountered!

Sometimes I really need to pinch myself to believe that I get to photograph the most amazing people and it’s my J-O-B!

I was so lucky to spend one HOT July afternoon with a new friend, Sharon. It was the first time she had done anything like this, but she handled it like a total pro! We wandered around the arts district in Downtown Los Angeles and found some absolutely fantastic new locations to shoot! I love all the color and grafitti that was all over the place- what a haven for creative energy!

Thank you to Sharon for trusting me to make you feel comfortable and look beautiful! Hope you love this little preview of your portraits!

esther: boudoir

Sunday, July 12th, 2009

I think it’s a woman’s curve and contour that makes them so incredibly beautiful. The soft edge of a woman’s smile is what makes them so lovely; the sparkle in their eyes is what makes them so gorgeous.

I was able to capture the magic of Esther’s femininity one afternoon during my first boudoir session. It’s always nice to have an opportunity to photograph something out of the ordinary. For me, boudoir photography is just that. I’m mostly a portrait photographer– engagement portraits, weddings, family, etc. but when I had the opportunity to photograph such a beautiful girl, I jumped at the chance.

Here is a sneak preview of the boudoir session I did with Esther. We can’t show you all the images (for decency’s sake) but here are a few great ones I absolutely loved.

I can’t wait to do more boudoir sessions– so let me know if you are interested in something like it.

Happy Monday!
